Welcome to BrevetCard! By accessing or using the BrevetCard web and mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The platform provides tools for Organizers to manage cycling events and participants, and for Participants to check in at Control Points using GPS location.

2. Definitions

• Organizers: Individuals or entities using the BrevetCard platform to create and manage cycling events and participant lists.
• Participants: Individuals using the BrevetCard app to participate in events and check-in at Control Points.

3. Use of the Platform

• Organizers:
  • Must create a valid account and provide accurate information.
  • Are responsible for event setup, participant data accuracy, and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Agree to use the platform solely for event management purposes.
• Participants:
  • Must register on the mobile app with accurate details.
  • Allow the app to enable GPS location services for event participation and check-ins at Control Points.
  • Are responsible for ensuring their device functionality (e.g., GPS accuracy).

4. Event Management and Participation

• Organizers can create, modify, and manage events, including establishing Control Points.
• Participants must adhere to event-specific rules and guidelines set by Organizers.
• Any issues related to event participation must be addressed directly with the relevant Organizer.

5. GPS Location Services

• BrevetCard uses GPS functionality to enable Participant check-ins at Control Points.
• Participants consent to sharing location data during events; location information is not shared beyond the scope of event purposes.
• BrevetCard is not liable for technical errors or inaccuracies in GPS functionality.

6. Data Privacy

All user data is managed in compliance with the BrevetCard Privacy Policy here. Organizers and Participants agree to handle personal and location data responsibly and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

7. Intellectual Property

BrevetCard retains all intellectual property rights related to the platform, including but not limited to logos, software, and designs. Unauthorized use or reproduction of platform content is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

• BrevetCard is provided "as is." We are not liable for technical errors, data loss, or issues arising from event management or participation.
• Organizers are solely responsible for event execution, and BrevetCard is not liable for disputes or incidents during events.

9. Modification of Terms

BrevetCard reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
